Leaves are changing.... and Fall Break is close!!

It is almost time for Fall Break. At this point in the semester, your assignments are kicking in, and papers are probably piling up. As you approach your first break in college, I encourage each of you to think about the strategies you have learned thus far in the semester. Are you managing your time the best you possibly can? Are you stressed? If so, what are healthy coping strategies you are implementing to help you manage this level of stress?

As I think back over the semester so far, it pleases me to see how far each of you has come. Take time to reflect upon your experiences thus far. What are you most proud of? What have you accomplished that you did not think possible during Orientation? Each of you has begun to create your own unique path at Converse. Some of you have chosen to run for various elected positions, try out for Dance Ensemble and the play Dracula, and others of you have decided to apply for the Emerging Leaders program. You go!! These activities are merely a start to your college career. Yet, keep in mind what our upper class visitors said.... look at your plate of activities before you decide to put something else onto your plate.

Congratulations!! You have made it half way through your first semester in college.
You all rock!
